Our unique approach to art
starts with the artist themselves. At Studio 308 we provide an atmosphere that allows the each of the artists to express their individual creativity. As they develop their skills and talents, Studio 308 provides a venue to display and sell their work to the public. This website is an extension of that outlet by expanding the venue to the entire world via the Internet.

Studio 308, located in DeLand, FL welcomes all who wish to express their artistic side using watercolor pencil, graphite pencil, colored pencil, ink and pen, watercolor, oil painting, art markers, acrylics and mixed media. Working with our staff of instructors, lead by Margaret Rose Scribner is truly a joy.

Artist of the Month: Sky Vance

Eleven-year-old Sky is a talented young lady who undeniably "marches to her own drum." Belying her unique style she is a sweet and charming home-schooled 5th grader, with a keen sense of humor. Beside being a gifted artist, she loves to play the drums, surf, and amuse herself with video games. She and older sister Ivy (January's Artist of the Month) have been taking lessons at Studio 308 for two years. Because Mom and Grandma are both in the beauty-business Sky can, and does, frequently model many of their products (see picture). Her motto?: "Anything boys can do I can do better." (atta girl!)
