Studio 308 has a few simple policies for students (and parents) to observe because we must must remember that 308 works as a business as well as a place to spend a fun and rewarding time creating art.
As a business, we must both cover expenses and operate with mutual respect. To assure a financially healthy climate, I request that we respect the following procedures:
“No-shows”* will be financially responsible for their specifically scheduled time slot.
Cancellations** must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson.
(the Studio maintains a 24- hour answering service through its phone line)
Last minute cancellations will remain the student’s financial responsibility except for sudden illness or legitimate emergency.
Any classes canceled at my initiative will receive a make-up time or a credit toward a future class if pre-paid.
*NO-SHOW - a student who does not attend a scheduled class and does not notify the studio of that intent.
**CANCELLATIONS - continuously habitual disruption of prudent scheduling will result in specially designed financial arrangements.
RESCHEDULING - I will make a reasonable and appropriate effort to reschedule a make-up class in lieu of students' payment for an unattended class.
Tuition that is paid at the beginning of the month
will receive a 5% discount.
